The criminal used a. skeleton key at Tsarkoe Selo Station, and placed bombs on the rail three minutes before the Duke starred. The Duke’s train was, however, brought to St. Petersburg by another line. The Duke returned to the Tsarkoe Selo Palace the same evening. The Town Commandant of Krinoyarsk has been shot dead in the street. The assassin escaped. Seventeen participators in the Tukkum rising have been executed.
