JAUNDICE, Dr. Thompson says : —“ Whoa people have what is called Jaundice, it is the prevailing opinion that they have too much biio; this is a mistaken notion, for there is no such thing as there being too much bile. The difficulty is caused by the stomach tcing cold and foul, so that the food is not properly digested, and the bile, not being appropriated to its natural use, is dispersed through the pores of thd skin, and deposits on the surface the yellow colour termed jaundice. With this ailment, as with others, the Stomach and Liver is nearly always at fault, and wo cannot impress the fact too strongly, th at to keep these organs in proper condition it is necessary to take 8 to 10 drops of IMPEY’S MAY APPLE after meals. This remedy is now obtainable at any store in the colony, is inexpensive, is palatable to take, safe under all conditions, and can bo taken by children as well as adults. Price 2s Od.
