Wool Sales, Sydney February 21. Woo prices show a hardening tendency. Scoured has reached 25d, a record for the season, and greasy 14d. Stock Market. The New Zcalan 1 Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Ltd., report’ as follows : _At Mr H. G. Hammond's clearing sale on Tuesday last there was a largo attendance of buyers, and a good sale resulted. Sheep sold freely, making full market rates. There was a good demand for the horses and machinery and sundries made full values. Quotations: —Sheep: Cull lambs 4s to 5s 4d, rape lambs 8s 3d to 9s 9d, 2-tooth ewes 15s, 2 and 4-tooth ewes 15s 2d, 4-koth ewes 16s 2d to 16s 4d, 4 and 6-tooth ewes 16s 4d, sound-mouth ewes 10s XOd to 13s 4d, cull owes 6s 9d,' 994 forward wethers 16s Id, 2 and 4-tooth wethers 18s sd, cull wethers 10s 4d, aged rams 7s 6d to 18a 6d. Cattle : Dairy cows X 3 to £5. Horses: Draughts .£3l to £sl, 3-year draughts £l6 10s to £33, 2-year draughts £lO 10s to £l6 10s, yearling draughts £lO to £l2, hacks £4 15s to £B. Dalgety and Co., Ltd., hold their fortnightly sale at Martou on Tuesday last, when, they had a full yarding of sheep and a fair yarding of cattle. There was a decided drop in aged owes, and most ot the lots were passed in under the hammer. Good lambs sold well, as also did cull Lambs, most of the lots selling well. We made a full clearance of all sheep after the sale, with the exception of one small lino of aged owes. All cattle were disposed of at satisfactory prices.
