Latast Edition. Per Pi ess Association Wellington, February 20. Mr McNab, in the course of a speech hero last night, said that all land taken from large freehold estates would still remain freehold, and those who got it would have freehold rights. All native lands declared by the Commissioners to be surplus would be dealt with by legislation and be disposed of under the freehold system on terms favouVahle to buyers.
