Press Association —Copyright. Sydney, February 20. The Prometheus has returned from a cruise to the Islands. An officer states there was not the slightest trouble in 'landing the returned Kanakas at the various islands, where they were received in a most friendly manner by the tribes to which they belonged. 'The warship shelled a native village on the island of Malaita as punishment for interfering in Mission work and firing upon natives attached to the Mission.'
