Our annual stock sale was hold hero by Messrs Abraham and Williams on Mr J. Old’s properly. A very good gathering of farmers and buyers were present. For good saleable stock the prices were quits up to expectations. The following will give an idea of the stock 501d: —375 twotooth wethers 14s od, 380 two-tooth wethers 14s Id, 320 two-tooth wethers 13s 4d, 90 two-tooth wethers 14s 7d, 130 twotooth ■wethers 14s 7d, 204' lambs 8s Bd, 125 wether lambs 7s, 187 lambs 9s, 170 lambs 6s, 560 lambs 9s 6d, 435 4, 6. and f.f. ewes 13s Gd, 90 ewes full-mouth 6s 3d, 250 lambs 10s, 31 two-tooth owes 14s 6d, Eomney rams sold from 14 to 24 guineas, A large number of ewes, mixed ages, which wore passed under the hammer, were satisfactorily sold after the sale. There was 7000 sheep in the yards. All were sold excepting three small pens.
