Wool- Sale, « _ Per Press Association. Invr,rcalie; ill, February 12. The third and last wool sale to-day excited little interest. The total of 1014 bales were all dealt with in an hour, most of the wool being that passed in at the January sale. _ Competition was, however, keen and in many cases advanced prices wore realised, though no first class wools offered. Prices generally were not so high. Pieces were slightly higher. The wool was mostly crossbred. Prices for lino medium quality lid to lliju,' io„ 1 to lid, inferior Bld to 9jd, half-bred was r oor w meui.im pieces hovered between lOd and 10}, and one lot ll’id. The highest bid of the day was 12’d for 8 bales of half-bred owe. 3! Sydney, February 12. At the wool sales there was very strong competition, and prices reached the highest level. Greasy brought TR-d and scoured 23-Jd.
