At Special Meetings of the Pohanginn County Council held at Pohanginaon Saturday, 12th January, 1907, resolutions were passed making and levying Special Rates for .the payment of interest and other charges on Loans authorised to be raised by the said Council under “ The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1901,” as follows ; 1. A Special Rate of 2Jd. in the £ sterling upon the rateable value of ; all rateable property of the Apiti 1 Township Special Ealing District for 1 Loan of £IOOO for forming footpaths ! in the Township of Apiti. ! 2. A Special Rate of 2-9fchs of a penny in the pound sterling upon the j rateable value of all rateable property of the To Awa Special Eating District for Loan of £IOOO for acquiring land and forming and metalling a road through Section IS, Block V., Pohangina S.D. The above loans are for periods of 41 years, and the interest to be paid at the rate of 4 % per annum. It is hereby further notified that copies of the above resolutions are open to public inspection at the Office of the Council, Pohangina, during office hours, and that Special Meetings of the said Council will be held on SATURDAY, 9th day of February, 1907, to confirm such resolutions.
