CLIFTON ATHLETIC CLUB.

In to-day’s issue the Clifton Athletic Club announce that the postponed sports meeting will be held on Wednesday, February 20th. The programme has been slightly modified and now comprises events ,of a very interesting nature. In order to encourage young athletes to take part in the meeting the events are made open to competitors who have never won stakes to the collective value of £5 only. Tho cash prize money amounts to £SO, and nominations for all events close on the ground. Special attention is being paid to the youths’ and children’s events, so that young and old are assured of a good day’s outing. Programmes will be supplied on application to the Secretary, Mr J. Campion. Horseowners will note that the equestrian events remain as in the previous programme.
