Mr Kirkpatrick, Chief-Secretary of South Australia, who recently paid a visit to New Zealand, says the country well merits Mr Seddon’s appellation “ God’s Own Country.” ' Hobart, February 7. Captain Evans, Premier of Tasmania, considers Tasmania has natural advantages which compare favourably with those of Now Zealand, and last the Tasmanian climate eclipsed that of Now Zealand beyond conception. Over half a million cases of apples, almost double last year’s shipments, will bo exported to England and Europe this season.
