At Special Meetings of the Rangitikei County Council, held on the 19th day of December, 1906, resolutions were passed making and levying Special Rates for the payment of interest and other charges on special loans authorised to be raised by the Council as follows : 1. A Special Rate of |d in the pound sterling in the Wairano Special Rating District, to provide interest, etc., on a loan of £l2O, being 10 % additional upon tho loan of £I2OO raised for tho Wairano and Puhirua roads.
2. A Special Rate of in the pound sterling in the Union Special Rating Distil l to provide interest, etc., on a loan of .£IOO for metalling a portion o£ the Union Line.
