Jo 1 in Warrington has sued Colonel Wallace, late commandant of the King’s Colonials, for £250 commission for procuring a donation of £SOOO from Mr Horlick, of Malted Milk fame, for the funds of the regiments. Tbo plaintiff alleged that Colonel Wallace promised to put Horlick’s name before the Prince of Wales for knighthood. The jury gave a verdict for defendant,
