On the second ballots, the German , National Liberals gained two seats : from the Independent Liberals, The Social Democrats lost three, making 25 altogether, | Many German Radicals dread the prospect of the Clericals and Conservatives dominating the Reichstag Prince Bulow's supporters polled in the first ballot 4,925,500 votes against 5,896,000 polled by Clericals, Polos and Social Democrats. The increase of the Social Democrat poll compared with 1903 was 260,000. Numerically they are the largest party.
