Press Association.—Copyright, Adelaide, February 4, Arrived —Steamer Midguard, She reports sighting, on January 26, twenty miles north - west of Lord Howe Island, the barque Maoldwyn dismasted and abandoned. There was no sign of the crow. The Maeldwvn was on her way from Pispo, South America to Sydney for orders.

It is considered probable that the crew qf the Maaldwyn have landed on Lord Howe Island. Adelaide, February S. The Jfaolgwyn’s masts were gone, the decks swept and she was driving away, from the island. The’Midyard kept in close proximity for some time but it was impossible to board her owing to rough weather.
