The market is still quite bare of stocks and price remain firm. Ga'rtons are almost unprocurable. Milling wheat.—Tuscan 3s 6d to 3s 7d, velvet (scarce) 3s 6d to 3s 7d, and Hunter's 3s 4d to 3s 6d, f.o.b. Fowl wheat.—Good whole 3s 4£d to 3s sd. Orders are coming to hand freely, and as stocks are not sufficient for requirements prices remain firm. Barley.—Feed quality 2s 7£d to 2s 9d, f.o.b. Eyecorn.—Stocks are light. The local demand absorbs anything offering. Bran, 70s, net. In short supply. > Pollard, 89s, net. Market still very bare. Linseed. Medium £ll to £l2, lower grades £lO to £ll. In good demand. Eyegrass.—2Blb os 2d to 6s 3d, 261 b 4s lOd to 5s Id, 261 b it 8d to 4s lid, 231 b4i 6d to it 9d. The market is still excited, and prices have further advanced. Old stocks are in very low compass, and it is very hard to get new seel.
