MR WHITELEY'S FUNERAL.

Thousands of his employees attended the funeral at Kensal Green. Many shops were closed. A quarter of a million spectators ■watched the procession. Mr White-ley's estate amounts to ! about £1,500,000. lie bequeathed £12,000 to hospitals and benevolent institutions, £SOOO for the promotion of outdool sports.
