A Correction.
Sik,—l am reported in your paper to h:iv« said at the special meeting of Marton Borough Council on Thursday last that" the drivers should be licensed instead of the vehicles." What I did say was " That the driver* should be licensed the same a* in Walling ton and other places." Complaints were being made by Councillors that some of the owners of vehicles had one license and had two, three and four vehicles in some cases, and I mentioned the licensing of drivers as the curj.
