Those talking of separation, he said, were an insignificant minority. It would be easier if tho Irish members tyustcd a friendly Government more and acknowledged more cordially what it is trying to do for thorn. Educational re-forms were only possible by Irish authority. Tiro speaker said he favoured giving tho Irish pretty wide powers of expenditure, convinced that largo powers of self-govern-ment would not be abused.
