Notice is hereby given that at a special meeting of the Kiwitea County Council held on the 28tfa November, 1906, a resolution was passed by way of Special Order making and levying a special rate of 9-64ths of a penny in the £ sterling on tiie rateable valuation of all rateable property of the Peka Road Special Rating Area for the payment of interest and other charges on a loan of £2OO authorised to be raised by the said Council under “The liooal Bodies Loans Act, 1901,” and amendments thereto for the purpose of trimming and metalling the Peka Eoad from the end of present metal at Tuka Bridge. The loan is for a period of 41 years and the interest to be paid at the rate of 4 per centum per annum. It is hereby further notified that a copy of the proposed Special Order embodying the resolution passed at the said special meeting for making and levying such special rate is open for public inspection at the office ol the Council, Kimbolton, during office hours, and that a Special Meeting oi the said Kiwi tea Council will b< held on SATURDAY, 19th day o January, 1907, to confirm the sale resolution.
