Trentham Training Notes.

Heavy rain yesterday and last night made the tracks at Trcntham greasy foxtraining operations this morning. Golden Cairn cantered ten furlongs, being shaken up to half-speed over the last five. Signalman covered a similar distance at quarter speed and Clanchattan at half speed. Glcnculloch rah ?ix furlongs in Imin 19sec. Submarine put in a useful gallop over 11-miles without being asked to put up any time, finishing strongly. Compass and Hiro saw the end of six furlongs in Imin 21soc. Grand Cii*cle and Hill Song galloped seven furlongs in Imin 38soc, the last four in 54scc, the former having a slight call at the finish. Seaman and Fascination wont ten furlongs at half speed, the last four in 57sec. Ballarat did six furlongs in Imin 20seo, the last four in 52sec. ' A number of others were restricted to steady exercise.
