REVIEW OF THE MEAT TRADE.

Press Association —Copyright. London, January 12. Weddoll’3 annual review of the meat trade states that the consumption of frozen and chilled meat in the Uniteil Kingdom was equal last year to 26 per cent, of the total consumed. The'outlook for 1907 is good. The review says the drought in the ■ Argentine and New Zealand may result in pressure to make early shipment. This would- cause a reduction in the numbers later, and so it is expected that the average prices will be fully equal to those of : 1906.
