On an informers denunciation, a hundred revolutionaries and terrorists were arrested at Warsaw.
The Czar wrote on the official report of General Pavloff’s death “ A loss difficult to replace of an honest strong man.” The court-martial sentenced his assassin to death.
1 i Several terrorists, implicated in Colonel AndreiiFs assassination, wounded two of his escort. A patrol marching in the street fired an indiscriminate volley, killing two spectators and wounding six, besides killing a woman by fright.
