Per Press Association. Cheistchubok, January 7. The N.Z. International Chess Congress fifteenth round was continued to-day. J. Mason beat Forsyth, Rummer beat Gould, Kcliing beat Crakanthorpe, Grierson beat Barnes, James beat Gifford, Sexton beat Cummings, Gould beat Sainsbury on the seventh round, Sixteenth round—Barnes beat Edwards, James beat Sexton, Davies beat Gifford, Forsyth beat Parker, Crakanthorpe beat Yiner, Pleasants beat Gould, Kummer beat J. Mason. B. Mason v, Grierson and Cummings v. Stewart were drawn. Crakanthorpe played a masterly game, and never gave a chance to Yiner, who resigned on the thirtieth, move, with nearly all the pieces on the board. The scores at the end of the sixteenth round are as follows, wins being placed first and losses second :—Yiner 13—1, Crakanthorpe 12—I, Barnes 10—5, Davies 9| —Kummer dh — M.
