Wool and Skins. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company report There was a good attendance of buyers and bidding was brisk for everything. The slight drop experienced in tallow was recovered and hides were firm. We quote : Wool, In bags-Coarse crossbreds, 9d to 9|d; dead, to 9d ; bellies and pieces, 6|d to 7id; locks, to 4£d. Sheepskins, dry; Halfbred, 9*d to 9fd; crossbred, full-woolled, gifi to 9£d ; merino, 7id to B£d; d e ad and damaged, 6d to 8d per lb ; lambs, 7ijd to Bid; green, fullwoolled, 8s 6d to 9s; pelts, 2s 9d to 8a 4d; Jambs, Bs to 3s 5d each. Hides: Sound ox, 6Jd to 6fd; Bound cow, 6d to GJd ; damaged, 5-gd to sgd; calf, sound, G-Jd to 7§d; calf, damaged, ,3d to 5d per lb. Tallow: In casks, to 25s 8d; in ting and boxes, 14s Gd to 20a 3d per owt. Our next sale will be held on Wednesday, the 16th inat.
