Per Pi ’ess Association. Palm erston N., January 7.
W. Wood was sentenced to two months’ imprisonment on two charges of selling indec ;ent pictures. A request for the imposition of a fine was refused. Mr Thomson, *S.M., said that if ever there was a cas e for imprisonment this was one. Acciased sold seven pictures and had eight others, all of a grossly indecent nature,, in his possession when arrested.
