FRANCE AND THE VATICAN.

Home, January 5. The Vatican states that the French Government intends publishing a portion of the documents lately seized at the Paris Nunciature, during the
absence of the representative of the Vatican, which relate to certain personages. If so, the injured par tics must use the means they judge best to protect their rights It is stated in clerical circles in Home that no inventory of these documents was taken, and the Vatican may question their authenticity.
