• Per Press Association. ArcntAND, January 4, ‘ A consignment of pedigree sheep ; purchased in England under direction of the High Commissioner for the Dei partment of Agriculture, arrived by the Wakatane. The consignment, which numbels 25, and arrived in excellent condition, consists of the following, the amounts > being the prices paid in each case : i One Border Leicester two-tooth ram. j bred by S. Dunlop. £'s2. i Five Border Leicester two tooth ' ewes in lamb, bred by Messrs Hume, J Bardwoll and Smith (price not stated). | One Englssh Leicester two-too;.h i rani, bred by G. Harrison, £47 4s. j Five English Leicester twp-tqolh | ewes in lamb, bred by G. Harrison, ■ £ls 5s each. One Ilyeland two-tooth ram, bred by TV. Barnaby, £42.
