FRANKLIN RACING CLUB.

GENERAL MEETING. A general meeting of the Franklin Racing Chib was held in the A. and P. Socictv’s office on Thursday night, when the vice-president, Mr. C. Clarke, presided over an attendance of about 30 members. The- meeting was called for the purpose of amending several rules, and, on the motion of Messrs. West and Gardes, the rules were amended as advertised. Sixty-three new members were elected, making a total membership of about 5.00. The farming committee was instructed to proceed with any necessary improvements at the club's property. It was unanimously decided to hold the non-tolalisator meeting on Saturday, April 9th. Accounts amounting to £129 were passed for payment.
