BUCKLAND PROGRESS.
Sir,—Rc your correspondent's renarks on Buckland, and the fact that, ■e thinks they arc waking up. Well, the fact is they have been much -.wake all the time, but it is Pukckobe's drowsiness that buries the efforts of the small community. It would be the leading suburb of Pukckohe if we could only get the Borough Council to wake up and give us decent road access for one thing. From the way the borough keeps its roads, the sooner they resign and merge themselves into the Franklin County Council the better, for then they will get things done. SETTLER. Buckland, Jan. 24th, 1921.
