WEDDING BELLS.
BOYD—REEVE. A very pretty wedding was solemn,!ic“ by the Rev. J, Olphert in the Methodist Church on Wednesday. The contracting parties were Mr. J idcFarlanc Boyd, son of the late Mr. if. and Mrs. Boyd, and Miss Ira Reeve,, fifth daughter of Mr. and Mrs. _ F, Reeve, of Puni, late of Opotiki. Inc church was beautifully decorated for the occasion, the central feature being a largo floral bell, As the bride had boon assistant organist of the church for a considerable time, the choir attended and rendered “The \ dice that Breathed O’er Eden,” and Mr. Cannell played the “Wedding March,” The bride, who was given away by her father, looked charming in a beautiful dress of cream chiffonelie, with net overskirt, veil and orange blossoms. She cauied a lovely shower bouquet of pink and white flowers and asparagus ferns. The bridesmaid, Miss Nadia Reeve, sister of the bride, wore a becoming dress of white voile, with smart bat, trimmed with pale pink roses and green loaves. Mr. E. L. Williams, of Waiuku, performed the duties of best man. After the ceremony the bridal party and immediate relatives of the family sat down to a dainty repast in the Cainival tearooms. The happy couple will make their home in Pukekohe.
