Sh was attended by Nurse Ivy Browr of Auckland Hospital (niece), am Misses Ivy Hall, of Otorohangi (niece) Ella ■ Matthews, Aucklam (friend), and Mavis Brown, Puke kohe (niece), as bridespiaids, whih little Sylvan and Teala Pegler, o. Manurewa, acted as flower girls. r lh< bridesmajds wore buttercup voile made in the latest lichu style witl hats to match and carried showei bouquets. Mr. N>. L. Brown, of Pukekohe, brother of the bride, acted as | best man and Mr. Jack Brown, ol [ Papatoetoe, nephew of the bride, as groomsman. After tno ceremony a numbe of guests pa took of a sumptuous wedding repast at the Parish aHli, Papakura, when the customary toasts were honoured. The bridegroom is a South African war veteran and holds the Queen’s modal with live clasps. The bridegrooms present to the bride .was a pearl necklace and to the two (ir.st pridesmaids gpki brooches, while the two second bridesmaids received gold cameo rings and the flower girls gold necklets, Presents were numerous' and cosily.
