ROOSE'S BUSH LOAN.
PROPOSAL REJECTED.
The Pukekohe Borough Council's pioposal to raise a loan of £4IOO for the purpose of acquiring Roose's Bush for a scenic reserve was disapproved by the small minority of who voted at a poll on Wednesday. Altogether only 84 votes wee recorded* the number of ratepayers on the .roll being about SOO. Voting was as follows: For the proposal .. .. 40 Against the proposal .. 43 Informal 1
The proposal was therefore re iected.
