FRANKLIN MARKET REPORT.
The The Franklin Farmers' Auctioneering Company report:— At our usual weekly sale on Friday we had a good yarding of pigs of all classes, weaners, slips, stores, and fat, and prices showed an advance on last week's rates. Weaners SI 10s to £2 ss, slips £2 12s to £3 ss, sows £6 10s to £B. Sellers and ouyers want to remember time of sale, 11 o'clock. Poultry: Hens 3s to 4s 6d, roosters 4s 6d to 7s. A fair yarding of poultry was penned. No turkeys or geese were penned. Ducks realised 3s to 3s 6d. VgetabWs realised good prices: Cabbage 4s to 5s dozen; peas, Is 9d peck; carrots, 2s dozen bunches; rhubarb, 5s dozen. Furniture and sundries at usual rates.
