Many New Zealand dairy companies are considering the advisability of abandoning the making of cheese during this season (says the Eltham Argus), and among those factories which intend making this change is the Eltham Dairy Company, which intends to manufacture butter and casein at five of the branch factories, viz.: The Mountain Road, Mata, Te Hoti, Hunter Road, and Perseydale factories. The whole of the directors have "approved of the proposal. It is also likely that the Mangatoki Dairy Factory Company will take the same step in the course of a few weeks.
