Desemberl| 1920, at 8 p.m. at the Cfyncif Cham" 1 ber, Edinburgh Street, Pufceki'he:— In exercise of the powers confjrred on it by Part XLII of "The M/iicipal Corporations Act, Pukekohe Borough Council wreby makes, by way of Spacial Over, a By-law under '"The Corporations Act, lgoS.'Vfne Pjphc Reserves and Domain Ala 190jf' and in pursuance of all an« ' e\em of the powers in that ltftaff chained in any other mibling the said Council in lih\t b&nlf, and intituled "The Domaita %-la%, 1920." The object! ani purport of the said By-law are as follows: 1. Interpretation?* 2. Prohibits Betting in Domain. 3. Prohibits Games of Chance. 4. Noi parson shall, without permissioihofYhe Council: (a)\Take\or admit dogs to Domain unlesl uJder continuous control. 1 / (b) ErectWny swing. (c) Erectjror keep any stall or booth'otherwise than stated in such permission. (d) Climb any tree in Domafh. **(e) Leave open any gate, pluck flowers, leaves, foliage, seeds, or do any damage to any trees or shrubs. (f) Carry any firearms or shoot any birds. (g) Drive any vehicle for the conveyance of goods. (h) Allow goats or poultry to enter Domain. (i) Play any game of cricket, football, etc., other than in the place appointed for such purpose. (j) Play any game, or train for any gume or sport on Sunday. (k) Behave in improper or indecent manner, or use foul or abusive language. (1) Interrupt any employee of Council while at work. (m) Allow children under 10 years of age in Domain unless accompanied by someone over that age. (ii) Allow any horse, cattle, or other animal in Domain. 5. Dogs found at large may be shot or destroyed, b, Any person acting under authority of Council, or any Constable, may prohibit the improper erection oi use of swings, etc. V. No person shall: (a) Play on Roulston War Memorial Park Tennis Court without permission and paying fee according to schedule herein. (b) Play or walk on the court without proper tennis footwear. (c) Play any other game but tennis, or play tennis when tlje court is unfit to be played on. fd) Play any but short sets. (e) Fail to record score of games. (f)"Refuse to show permit on demand by any authorised person. 8. Offenders against By-laws to pay penalty and make good damage. A full copy of this By-law Is deposited at the Office of the Pukekohe Borough Council, Edinburgh Street, Pukekohe, and is open to the inspection of the Public during office hours until the said 15th day of December, 1920.
