I Pakuranga Riding.- -Howick Main ! Road: The work is still proceeding lon this road. The road has been rej_,faced for a distance over two miles, j rsirig about 900 cubic yards. I would ; recommend extending the contract by ; a further 300 yards. This will comi plete the main road, also the road to : the wharf, which is badly cut up by j lorry hauling, and leave a balance of ; shingle for future maintenance. Cr. | llattaway and I have further inves- | tigated the possibiliti# of procuring I a pennant shell depot at Buckland's. I As a result of our investigations we I are inclined to procure what blinding j we require for this year on a royalty i basis.
