By notice published in the Gazette the Acting-Secretary to the Treasury acknowledges receipt of £2O los 6cl, forwarded by a person unknown as "conscience money." We understand that the Prime Minister, Right Hon. W. F. Massey, hopes to pay a visit to Samoa during the coming recess, in order to eain a personal knowledge of the afI'airs in that poortion of the territory controlled by the New Zealand Government.
