NOTICE is hereby given that it is he intention of the Franklin County Council, in pursuance and exercise of he powers vested in it by the Counties' Act, 1908, and the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, and Amendments thereto, to Borrow the sum of EIGHTEEN THOUSAND POUNDS, (£18,000) for the purpose of purchasing Machinery and Plant for Road Construction purposes, AND, as security for the payment of interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the said loan, to make and levy a penny in the pound upon value of all rateable propertjfcjn the County of Franklin. The loarSjis for a period of years at of interest of five and a quaver %er centum per annum, together with ait additional charge of one £er centum to provide the necessary sinking fund.
