RESIDENTS FAREWELLED.
MR. AND MRS. W. McNALLY
A Farewell function was recently tendered to Mr. anil Mrs. W.'McNally by a numbei of Pukekohe West residents. The guests of the evening, who were residents of many years' standing, were heid in high esteem by all with whom they came in contact, As ii mark of the esteem in which they were held Mr. J. Hart, <'U behalf of a number of friends, presented Mr. McNaily with a goldmouiited tobacco pouch and cigaretteholder, and Mrs. McNaily with a beautiful silver cake-dish. Mr. McNaily suitably responded on his own and his wife's behalf. Gaines, cards and dancing were indulged in, and a most pleasant evening was spent. Supper 1 was partaken of and duly appreciated. The function terminated with ti.e rendering ol "For They are Jolly Good Fellow?' and "Auld Lang Syne." Mr. 'and Mrs. McNaily have since taken up their residence at Otahuhu.
