Each section is then' to arrange its fixtures and play its own matches, and the winning tennis of each section will play off for the shield: Matches are to start on November 6 and the date for the final is fixed at February 26. Owing to. the fairly equal strength of the various clubs it is expected that this year the shield matches will • be more interesting than ever. ,
