PUKEKOHE WEST.
K ITCH EN EVENING. A surprise party, in the form of a "kitchen evening,' was tendered to Miss Florrie Jenkins, daughter of Mr and Mrs. T. Jenkins. Pukekohe West, who is shortly to be married, at Mr. T. Jenkins' residence, Pukekohe West, on Wednesday evening last. About Ihiity neighbours were present, and a most enjoyable time was spent. Games were indulged in. while musical and vocal items by various resilient'; were apprt | :ited to the fullest. The presents were numerous, and included articles necessary tor a Kllchen. Mr. 10.-'. Foster, on hehal I of t lii* resilient s, cone rat iilated I lie bride in lie, and willed her success mill happiness ill her future spliele of I lie. The father of the bride to be suitably responded on his daughter's behalf. Supper was ; partaken of and duly appreciated. A ; most pleasant evening terminated i with the singing of "Auld Lang Syne" and the National Anthem. I
