JUST IN TIME. The steady spring ritin which commenced on Sunday afternoon and Continued yesterday was warmly welby the farming community, not v JSwly in Pukekohe, but throughout the Auckland Province. Rain was - badly needed, the early crops revealing this. For this period of the year, instead of the various crops having a bright appearance they appeared to be somewltftt dead and withered, the frosts arid the dryness of the soil being responsible for this.
