FRANKLIN MARKET REPORT.
The Franklin Farmers' Auctioneering Co., Ltd., reports:— During the week we had three sales at which we had good attendances. On Wednesday we held a clearance sale at Mr. Madill's of cattle, Implements, furniture, and sundries. Spirited bidding prevailed throughout, some of the prices realised being for cows, from £l6 to £27, horse £SB, cart £l7, fowls 8s each, and furniture very satisfactory prices. On Friday at our usual weekly sale we had a crowded attendance, with heavy entries in most lines, pjtfs and poultry being especially heavy. Prices for pigs were slightly better thaiw last week. Weaners realised from 26s I to 41s, slips £2 10s to £3. Poultry: Hens (light) 3s to 3s 3d, heavy up to 6s. Ducks 4s. Roosters 4s to 6s 6d. Potatoes Bs. Apples 7s 6i-to 86 6d case. Wegetables and is factory prices. On Saturday we held a' clearance sale at Mr. Lodge's, when we sola a piano, quantity of fiiritnure end effects, which realised very satisfactory prices.
