INVESTIGATION PROMISED.
INLAND WATERWAYS' COMMIS- ' SION.
In reply to an inquiry made by Mr. J. A. Young (Waikato) regarding improvements to the Waikato River, Sir William Hemes has written to Mr. Young: "I have to state that the In-land-Waterways' Commissions is being revived very shortly, and one of its orders of reference is to consider the question of this important waterway."
