WEDDING BELLS
SCOTT' WOO%EN. C^ An interesting wedding spok place at the Methodist Churt#rtfn Wednesday last, Rev. J. QVph'ert officiating. The contracting parties were Mr. M. A.- Scott, builder, of Hamilton, anil Miss A. M. E. Wootten, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Wootten of Ramarama. The bride, who given away by her father, wore a cream serg'e costume with hat to match. She also wore a spray ol orange blossoms and carried a beautiful shower bouquet ol white flowers and aspiragijs fern. She was attended by her sister, Miss E. D. Wootten, as bridesmaid, who was attired in pink silk ,with long sash, and hat to match. She Itrejiwaarried a bouquet of white flower's and asparagus fern. Mr. J. N. Foley acted as best man. The church was "tastefully decorated for the 6e> casion. Miss Reeve officiated at the organ and rendered' the "Wedding March." After the ceremony a large number of guests were entertained at the Carnival Tearooms, when the customary toasts were honoured. That of the bride and , bridegroom was proposed in a neat speech by Rev. Olphert, who has known the bridegroom for many years, "and responded to by the bridegroom in pleasing terms. -The nappy couple subsequently left by the .afternoon train for Aueklafftl, en route 'fQt their future home-at Hamilton.
