TUESDAY'S MEETING. The usual fortnightly meeting of - the Papatostoe Town Board was held j on Tuesday last, when the following . members were present: Mr. J. Watson (chairman), Messrs. T. The committee reported having met the chairman of the Orphan Homes' Board, and also having approached the Railway Department for the necessary land to widen the western approach to the traffic bridge. The two parties are considering the matter and have not yet given a delinite reply. Telephone Service. The 100 th subscriber hiving joined the service it was decided to apply for the extended service, and vour to obtain a service from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. ! Quarrying Stone.
