New Crusher. Advice has been received that the Hadfield crusher previously ordered is due to arrive at Auckland about the 24th of "this month.

Portable Metal Hopper. The portable metal hoppers ordered some considerable time ago from Andersons, Christchurch, lias now come to hand, and will be assembled in county yard ready for us dining the coming season. Crushing and Hauling Plants. The No. 1 plant is at present operating at Pratt's Hill, Opaheke Main Road, and will complete the available stone in that vicinity during the present month. It is then proposed to crush stone on Great South Road and at Bombay. SL have to state that Mr. R. J. Stevenson, who was in charge of the No. 2 hauling and rolling plant has resigned and taken up a position as a driver of road roller at VVhakatane.

I The No. 2 engine has been repaired I and overhauled, as required by the inspector of machinery, p.nd is now in the tounty yard. County Teams Plant. The No. 1 teams plant is engaged carting road material in the Pukekahe West Riding and carrying out necessary road improvements. The No. 2 plant has now completed the reconstruction of a number of roads in the Bombay district, and is proceeding to Ramarams, Drury, and Papakura to undertake some small works which huva already been authorised by your council. Works Generally. Works generally throughout the county are being carried out as expeditiously as possible.
