FRANKLIN MARKET REPORT. The Franklin Farmers' Auctioneering Co., Ltd., report:— At our weekly sale on Friday we had a very heavy yarding of pigs, with prices showing a silght downward tendency. Weaners lis to 17s 6d, better quality 20s to 40s, stores £2 12s 6d to £3 3s. Only two small lots unsold. Piultry was penned in average numbers, and realised fully late prices. Hens, ordinary realised 3s to 3s 6d, better and heavier up to 6s 9d; ducks 3s to 4s 3d. Vegetables came forward in smaller quantities and found ready sale. On Wednesday we held a clearance sale of Mr. G. 'Wright's, Patumahoe. We had a crowded attendance, and a very successful sale. The implements realised very satisfactory prices. Poultrv: Hens 8s to 9s 6d. Motor-car £l2O. Heifers £7 5s to £l3, heifer calves £-1 5s to £5 10s, steer calves £4. A large quantity of household furniture and effects realised very satisfactory prices.
