Mr. Cole claimed exemption for his honse and also for Mr. Hargreave's house for the past 12 months, and for the future, claiming a refund on the house. , j Mr. Cole also mentioned that the curbing in front of his shop has broken away, and he hoped the board would attend to it at once. At the meeting of the Papakura Town Board last night Mr. Jones mentioned that on the advice of "an ■ expert, the cost of laying down three courts f«»r the tennis club Would be in the vicinity of £3O. &&•' Erection of Tennis GoOffs. Mr. Jones moved, and was seconded by Mr. Evans, that the board taka steps to erect three courts.— Carried. Site of Pipes for Queen-Street. Mr. Itae moved that all previous resolutions and amendments concerning the size of pjpes for Queen St. be rescinded. Seconded by Mr. Jong& and carried. , Mr. Evans moved that a 24-inch pipe be used. Seconded by Mr Campbell, and carried.
