WEDDING BELLS

O'NEIL-DONOVAN.

A quiet but pretty wedding took place at the Roman Catholic Church at Pukekohe on the 21st inst., the contracting parties being William H. O'Neil (late 23rd Mounted Rifles), fifth son of the late T. O'Neil and Mrs O'Neii, of Bombay, and Alice, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R. Donovan, Portsmouth Road, Bombay. The Rev. Father Molloy officiated. The bride, who was given away, by her father, was becomingly dressed in a grey costume and pale blue velvet hat, and was attended by Miss L«ena Donovan as bridesmaid, who wore a saxe blue Armore dress with pale grey beaver hat. Mr. T. O'Neil (late Third Auckland Mounted Rifles) was groomsman. After the ceremony the wedding party were motored to the home of the bride's parents, where a sumptuous wedding breakfast was thoroughly enjoyed by idoul sixty guests, and the customary toasts w«re duly honoured. The wedding presents were numerous, and of an unusually useful character, and included upwards of £3O in cheques. The happy couple left for Auckland en route to Rotorua, where the honeymoon is being spent. In the evening the young people enjoyed a happy time in dancmg, etc., to the excellent music of Mr. T. Donovan's violin, until the small hours of the morning.
